One of the ways we’re building caring relationships is through our community apothecary– a medicine chest of herbal products made by and for the people.

Each season, we’re making at least one community medicine where we mix common herbs and kitchen ingredients into plant medicine to stock the apothecary. Then, we distribute it for free at community events, through mutual aid and as a thank you for your donations.

Herbalism is for everyone. It’s about fortifying our communities with human nature connections. It’s about honoring the land and the people who have carried these traditions before us, including generations of Appalachian culture bearers and centuries of Indigenous land stewards.

Currently, our apothecary has

• Elderberry Syrup
• Goldenrod Salve
• Goldenrod Vinegar
• Yarrow Salve
• dried Mountain Mint, Tulsi, Goldenrod, and Yarrow for use in dried tea or your own medicine making endeavors!
